Coalition, a cybersecurity insurance company, trims its sales team.

Coalition, a cyber insurance company and managing general agent (MGA) based in California, has dissolved an internal sales team. However, the company clarified that this move is not part of any extensive layoffs. US-based account executives and business development staff from Coalition shared on social media that their roles were cut, but the reduction was specific to an internal sales unit and does not signify broader layoffs. According to a Coalition spokesperson, the company did not conduct layoffs, and a small number of positions were eliminated as part of disbanding an inside sales team or in alignment with the annual performance review process. Coalition is actively hiring for various roles across Australia, Canada, the UK, and the US, and it continues to grow its business. As of Thursday, it was recruiting security engineers, underwriting professionals, product managers, and more.
